This hearty old world dish is Italian, but at least historically, it has nothing to do with weddings. This dish earned the name “Minestra Maritata” or “married soup" because it brings together meat and greens in a happy marriage of flavors. Bring the taste of the Old Country to your dinner table with our original recipe, or hone in on the flavors of Italy’s Tuscan region by adding diced potatoes, Italian sausage and white beans.
