Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie


1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie crust
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup apple butter, no sugar with spice 
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 large eggs
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/3 cup milk
whipped cream for garnish


Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a medium mixing bowl combine pumpkin, apple butter, brown sugar, salt and spices. Lightly beat in eggs. Stir in both milks. Pour into pie crust and bake for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake an additional 25 minutes or until set or a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature before serving. Garnish with whipped cream.
