Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 Cup Natural Cocoa Powder 10/12
- 1 Cup GM All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 tsp Double Acting Aluminum Free Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Light Walnut Midgets 1/4in (Optional)
- 1 Cup Butter or Margarine, melted
- 1/4 tsp Table Salt
- 4 Eggs
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
- In large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Stir in nuts, if desired. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Prepare and frost brownie with CREAMY BROWNIE FROSTING, if desired. Cut into bars. Makes about 24 brownies.
